French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) hopes that their go-to man Neymar Jr will return to action ahead of the all-important UEFA Champions League last 16-double-header games against Real Madrid on February 16 and March 9.

According to the statement on Ligue 1 official website, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino said: "He's continuing his recovery under medical supervision, and he's on schedule, We hope that everything will be fine in the coming weeks."

"We came to an agreement before his departure for Brazil to record his return on Sunday," he said.

It is pertinent to mention that Neymar, who joined PSG back in 2017, is going through a very bad season as groin and ankle issues have hindered his progress and forced him to remain out of the action.

Currently, PSG are standing at the top of the Ligue 1 points table with 46 points, being 10 points clear of second-placed Nice.
