Former England batter Kevin Pietersen has called for finishing the bio-secure bubbles procedures for players and the other support staff members who have to go through strict quarantine and safety protocols.
Kevin took to his official Twitter account and tweeted about the bio-secure bubble which has become a common part of the sporting world ever since the emergence of the COVID-19.
"Strict bio-bubbles for players & coaching staff needs to be abolished for good ASAP," Kevin tweeted.
"They're ruining what's meant to be the best job in the world now. Players and staff are done with them," he added.
It is pertinent to mention that star India batter Virat Kohli has also been against the bio-bubbles, and one of the aggressive batters of his time, Kevin Pietersen, has also raided his concerns regarding it.
Meanwhile, Pietersen also floated the idea to England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for introducing franchise competitions in red-ball cricket to help England raise their standards in Test cricket.
