KARACHI: 19-year-old Muhammad Huraira on Monday became the 2nd youngest Pakistani after Javed Miandad to score a first-class triple century.

The Sialkot-born top-order batter reached this milestone on the 3rd day of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match, playing for Northern against Baluchistan.

He achieved this feat in his maiden first-class season. He had scored two centuries before this landmark performance.

The triple century by Huraira came in only 327 deliveries, making it one of the quick first-class triple centuries.

The Pakistani youngster is only the 9th teenager in the world to smash a triple-ton in first-class cricket and 2nd Pakistani after Javed Miandad, who scored a triple century at the age of 17.

Huraira is overall 8th youngest to achieve this feat.
