Fans on Twitter remembered and paid tribute to one of the greatest wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer, the legendary Blackjack Lanza who passed away on December 8 at the age of 86.
The American professional wrestling commentator Jim Ross and WWE chairman Vince McMahon both condoled his passing.
Jim Ross on his official Twitter handle wrote: "Just heard from old, Winnipeg friend Bob Holliday that Jack Lanza has passed away at the age of 86. Jack was our lead agent during the Attitude Era. Helluva hand."
Furthermore, WWE chairman Vince McMahon said on social media "Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Jack Lanza. He was a man's man, respected and beloved by all. He worked for and loved WWE for many years. His loyalty and dedication will never be forgotten."
Lanza made his professional wrestling debut in 1961 and had featured in organizations including the AWA, NWA and WWF in a career spanning for more than two decades as a professional fighter.
His name was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2006.
