Fans lauded Pakistan's skipper Babar Azam on Twitter when he decided to take the bowl and deliver his first over as a bowler in international cricket in which he almost had a wicket on the fifth bowl.
Babar bowled the 26th over which eventually turned out to be the last over of Day 4 after bad light once again forced early stumps.
In order to forge out a result from the rain-hit Test, Pakistan declared their innings early on Day 4 having scored 300 runs at the loss of four wickets with Fawad Alam (50) and Mohammad Rizwan (53) not out.
With the bat, Azam once again missed out another chance of converting his fifty into his sixth Test hundred after he got out on 76 runs when Khaled Ahmed got him LBW out.
But, after Pakistan had declared their innings, off-spinner Sajid Khan ran through the Bangladeshi batting line-up as he clinched six wickets for 35 runs in a staggering 12 over spell.
Khan's spell brought life to a Test which seemed like a dull-draw after few overs were possible on Day 2 and entire Day 3 was washed-out.
While, the experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and Taijul Islam are on the crease battling it out for Tigers who still needs 25 more runs to avoid the follow-on come the last day.
Meanwhile, having Bangladesh in all sorts of trouble, Azam decided to bowl his off-spins and nearly had a wicket on the fifth bowl of the over.
The first delivery to Shakib was a dot ball as he defended it down the leg-side, the second was a good bowl as it had a bit of spin, on third delivery Shakib took a single, while fourth was defended by Taijul, though fifth was almost a wicket taking delivery as it landed on leg-stump spinning away as sixth was well negotiated by Taijul.
Seeing Azam's performance fans took to Twitter to shower praise.
