Pakistan's 28-years-old pacer Haris Rauf will once again represent the Australian Big Bash League franchise in the on-going season, Melbourne Stars for the second time after previously playing for them two years back.
The right-arm pacer will play his first match on December 27 against Brisbane Heat and will remain with the team until the end of the season though, his participation in the league is subject to COVID-19 protocols.
Meanwhile, Melbourne Stars coach David Hussey says he is looking forward to seeing Haris Rauf back in action.
Cricket Australia quoted Hussey as saying: "His addition brings experience, energy, and quality to our fast-bowling stocks. I'm sure the Stars fans will enjoy seeing him represent Team Green again in BBL 11."
It is being speculated that more Pakistani players are going to sign contracts with BBL teams and they will be available to play the season after West Indies series.
