Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is expecting several turnarounds in the Premier League title race as he praised his team's convincing victory against Watford.

Raheem Sterling's early opener and in-form Bernardo Silva's brace helped City win 3-1 against Watford at the Vicarage Road.

Pep Guardiola praised his team's performance and labeled it "great victory".

"It was a great victory again, another good performance. We continued at the level we have done in the last two months, three more points and now to Germany (to face RB Leipzig in the Champions League)," Guardiola said.

With Sunday's win against Watford, Manchester City have gone to the top of the table.

Guardiola wants his team to remain focused and be consistent as he expects several twists and turns in the Premier League title race.

“Today one team dropped points, next week could be us or Liverpool, many things can happen.

“There’s many games to come and it’s the toughest part of the season with many games. We are going to try to continue at this level and this rhythm," he added.

Bernardo Silva has been performing at the top level for Manchester City. The Portuguese midfielder scored a brace in City's win over Watford on Sunday.

Pep called Silva "the best" after City's 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Thursday, where Silva scored a beautiful side-footed volley to score the winner for his club.
