Debate on Twitter sparked after Indian skipper Virat Kohli's was given out LBW in a controversial decision by third umpire Virender Sharma during the series-deciding second Test against New Zealand in Mumbai.

The drama took place in the 30th over of India's innings on Day 1, where the on-field umpire gave out and as a result Kohli took the review immediately, being confident of the ball hitting the bat first than the pad.

The replay revealed that the ball had hit the bat first.

The delivery by Aijaz Patel was the last ball of his over, it was fullish in length to which Kohli pressed forward to push, but the ball hit the pads and a loud appeal followed.

Kohli was stunned after the decision was made and also discussed the matter with umpires before walking away as he seemed clearly unhappy with the decision as without snickometer, one felt that the ball had hit the bat first.

Fans at the Wankhede stadium weren't happy too and Twitter also bashed the third umpire by calling it a poor decision.
