Cristiano Ronaldo on Thursday made history when he scored his 800th career goal during Manchester United's Premier League clash against Arsenal at Old Trafford.

In a message on his official Twitter account, the 36-year-old said that there's no time to celebrate the win as Manchester United are already focused on the next game — against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

"Our minds are already set on the next game, there’s no time to celebrate," he wrote.

Cristiano Ronaldo said that the win against Arsenal was crucial for the Red Devils to get back on track but he clarified that the road to United's destination is long.

"Today’s win was very important to get back on track, but there’s still a long road to go until we reach our destination," he added.

The Portuguese striker also congratulated his teammates for the victory and the spirit they showed against Arsenal.

"Congrats to all my teammates, great spirit tonight [Thursday]," he concluded.

New interim coach Ralf Rangnick will take charge of Manchester United's clash against Crystal Palace on Sunday at Old Trafford.
