Lebron James, who is widely considered as one of the greatest players in the history of basketball, faced a one-game suspension after hitting Isaiah Stewart during the match between Los Angeles Lakers and Detroit Pistons.

Isaiah Stewart was suspended for two games, while Lebron James was suspended for just one.

"I'm not that kind of player. I didn't think it warranted a suspension," Lebron James told reporters after being suspended.

While talking to the media, Lebron James said he still has not been able to contact Isaiah Stewart after the horror show.

Lebron James said that he went over to apologize to Isaiah after "accidentally" hitting him.

"I went over to apologize to him but you guys saw what happened," he told reporters.

Lebron James elbowed Pistons star Isaiah Stewart on his head which left Isaiah bloodied as they fought a rebound on a second free-throw attempt.

After regaining his feet from the struck, Isaiah retaliated and fiercely charged at Lebron James for hitting him.

Both were ejected and directed towards their respective dressing rooms.

Los Angeles Lakers went on to win the game 121-116 against Detroit Pistons. But without their star player against New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers faced a close defeat of 106-100.

Upon Lebron James' comeback against the Indian Pacers on Thursday, LA Lakers won the game 124-116.
