Pakistani players among gainers as ICC updates Men's T20I rankings

Rizwan has gained 4th spot in the batting category while Shadab Khan secured 14th position in the bowling category

Pakistan's star wicket-keeper batsman Muhammad Rizwan's and all-rounder Shadab Khan's ICC Men's T20I rankings have improved after the International Cricket Council's recent update.

In the three-match T20I series in Bangladesh, Mohammad Rizwan gained one spot, moving up to no 4 after accounting for 39 and 40 in the final two T20Is.

All-rounder Shadab Khan has been performing well for the Pakistan cricket team and he has been rewarded for his brilliant performances in the World Cup and the series against Bangladesh.

Shadab Khan has entered the top 15, climbing two spots to no14 in the bowlers' chart while in the all-rounders' list, he has joined England's Ben Stokes at no 44.

Pakistan young batting sensation Haider Ali, who made a note-worthy 38-ball 45 in the final T20I against Bangladesh, gained 53 spots to 184.

Pakistan fast bowler, Hasan bounced back in the bilateral series against Bangladesh after an unfortunate performance in the T20 World Cup 2021.

Hasan Ali is also among the gainers in the recent update by the ICC, moving 16 spots to no 44.
