Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was delighted with his team's performance against Granada, especially with the midfield trio — Kroos, Modric, and Casemiro.
The Los Blancos coach said that the midfield trio is so good that he doesn't have to tell them anything as they do everything by themselves.
"There's not much to say, the level of the three is very high," Ancelotti said in his post-match press conference.
"For me, they are still the best midfielders in the world. The way the three of them are playing surprises me because they do things that I don't ask them to do, it just comes naturally.
Ancelotti also shed light on Real Madrid's future midfield stars.
"They [Kroos, Casemiro, Modric] have been there in the past, they are still there in the present and we'll see what the future holds in ten years, although for that we have [Eduardo] Camavinga, [Fede] Valverde, and [Antonio] Blanco," he said.
Marco Asensio has been a starter in Real Madrid's last two games, scoring the opener against Granada in the 19 minute.
"He's been a starter [in the last two games], he's fulfilling the things I'm asking of him, he's getting games and minutes. But the most important thing is that when he plays he delivers and shows his best quality," said Ancelotti.
