The right-hander played the quick blinders in a see-saw situation to take Pakistan to victory.
For the amazing performance, Asif has been lavished with praises from analysts as well as the fans.
And now, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has honoured Asif by nominating him for ICC Men's Player of the month for October along side Shakib Al Hasan and David Wiese.
Asif has been included in the nominee B category with Shakib included in the A and Weise in C, while the winner among the three will be declared through a voting system.
