Shane Warne said Pakistan can easily take home the T20 World Cup after last night's victory against India
Pakistan are now being dubbed the favourites to win the T20 World Cup after they edged arch-rivals India with ease by 10 wickets in Dubai on Sunday.
Former Australian cricketer Shane Warne took to Twitter and expressed his confidence in Team Green, saying Babar Azam’s men can easily take home the cup with the performance they put on display during the high-octane India and Pakistan clash.
“What a statement Pakistan just made in the #ICCT20WorldCup2021 Now favourites in my opinion after that emphatic win over India,” he wrote.
“Just a super all round & impressive performance. Babar Azam continues to enhance his reputation as one of the best batters in the world in all forms !!” he added.
Pakistan openers Babar Azam (68) and Mohammad Rizwan (79) chased India’s 152-run target with ease as they powered the team forward with their unbeaten half centuries. Meanwhile, Shaheen Shah Afridi headlined Pakistan's bowling efforts with his early-wicket haul.
