Global E-sports Tour to begin from October 24 in Riyadh

The event will see 16 of the top-class PUBG MOBILE pro-teams players competing for a prize pool of US$150,000

The three-day Global E-sports Tour organised by Global E-sports Federation and hosted by Saudi E-sports Federation in Riyadh will kick-off from Sunday 24 at 04.00 pm and concludes on Tuesday 26, after the first event held in Los Angeles last month. 

CEO of the GEF Paul Foster said: “The GE Tour shows true energy of our world connected motto. From LA one of the global centers for entertainment, we head to Middle East which is one of the fastest-growing e-sports regions. We are proud to join our host and GEF Board Member HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud and look forward to connecting with players and fans in Riyadh.” 

 The President of the Saudi E-sports Federation Prince Faisal bin Sultan said: “Riyadh is pleased to host the Global E-sports Tour, The GEF has been a valuable partner to us, and we are delighted to bring this event. E-sports continues to flourish around the world, and we are excited about the opportunity to host and organize such tournaments." 

 The event will see 16 of the top-class PUBG MOBILE pro-teams players competing for a prize pool of US$150,000. which is one of the world’s top-e-sports titles with more than 1 billion downloads worldwide.

The high-profile teams competing in Riyadh includes Saudi’s Rico Infinity E-sports, Russia based Virtus.pro, Nepal’s Da Real Soldiers Gaming, T2K Morocco’s Cryptics, and Jordan’s FATE E-sports.
