ICC T20 World Cup: Stephen Fleming joins Kiwi coaching camp

After IPL’s conclusion the former left-hander will now coach the Kiwi side for a few days.

Former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming joined the Kiwi coaching camp for this year’s ICC T20 World Cup for a short stint.

Taking to twitter the official Blackcaps account wrote that: "Fresh from the IPL Final, it’s great to have the IPL winning coach Stephen Fleming joining us for a few days ahead of the start of the ICC T20 World Cup."

Fleming, a former New Zealand great joined the national team’s training camp and the coaching staff at the Dubai International Stadium on Friday night, just after guiding his Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings to their fourth IPL title.

So, after IPL’s conclusion the former left-hander will now coach the Kiwi side for a few days.

The Black Caps are set to kick-off their T20 World Cup campaign against the Men in Green in the Super 12 stage at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Ground on October 26.
