England’s Fifa World Cup 2022 qualification hangs in the balance after a 1-1 draw at the hands of Hungry.

While England sits at the top of Group I with 20 points and Poland second with 17, a direct World Cup berth for England requires four points with two games in hand.

This makes the situation intense as England must not lose their last two games in order to secure direct qualification.

A win and a draw in either of the matches would lock their world cup berth.

If even Poland manages to clinch their last two games and England lose either of the two Poland would qualify on the better goal difference.
