T20 World Cup 2021: Pakistan team’s training schedule changed ahead of UAE departure

The training schedule for Pakistan’s T20 squad has been changed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) with today’s scenario match cancelled at the LCCA ground.

The team will be doing a net session at the Gaddafi Stadium later in the day to prepare for the mega-tournament, before they depart for UAE tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the players tested negative for COVID-19 on Thursday and will be departing for UAE on a chartered flight at 11:00am tomorrow.

The tournament will be held in the United Arab Emirates from October 17 to November 14. Pakistan is in Group 2 and will open their campaign against India on 24 October at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
