Pakistan T20 World Cup squad to be tested for COVID-19 today

Lahore: Pakistan's squad for the ICC T20 World Cup will be undergoing COVID-19 testing as they rest on Wednesday at a hotel here in Lahore.

Players will still be allowed to hit the gym but all virtual press conferences will remain halted for the third successive day.

Despite the advisory issued, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended all virtual pressers after Mohammad Rizwan and Hasan Ali’s conversations with the media last week.

Meanwhile, after two days of rigorous training the players played a scenario match at the LCCA ground on Tuesday where the performance of bowlers was better than the batters. The second scenario match will take place tomorrow.

Apart from the testing today, the players will also be briefed about the anti-corruption by the security manager Col (R) Muhammad Imran.
