After the resignation of former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) CEO Wasim Khan, the search for his replacement has begun.
As per a report by The News, the search for a new CEO was initiated on Sunday with a virtual meeting of the Board of Governors, chaired by PCB chairman Ramiz Raja.
According to the report citing sources, during the meeting, perks and privileges of the new CEO were also discussed.
Khan was pocketing Rs3.5million on a monthly basis alongside other perks.
The former CEO was given the responsibility for bringing in international teams and top cricketing stars to Pakistan owing to his prior county cricket experience. However, he was largely unsuccessful in doing so.
Last month, New Zealand abandoned their Pakistan tour last-minute citing security concerns, which was followed by England Cricket Board also pulling back the men and women’s tours to the country.
