LAHORE: Pakistan's fast bowler Naseem Shah has tested COVID-19 positive, sources told Geo.tv.

Naseem, who was earlier diagnosed with Pneumonia, has now contracted with COVID-19. The bowler is currently under treatment at a local hospital and he will not be available for the remaining two T20Is against England.

The 19-years-old cricketer will remain under observation for upcoming days. His participation in the tri-nation series in New Zealand will depend on his health condition.

Pakistan will depart for New Zealand soon after completion of home T20I series against England. They are scheduled to play first match against Bangladesh on October 7.
