England star picks Shah Rukh Khan to play his biopic

England’s captain Jos Buttler revealed that he like Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) to play his biopic after the 33-year-old guided Rajasthan Royals (RR) to a remarkable win against Kolkata Knight Riders (KRR) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

Shah Rukh Khan, one of the biggest names in the entertainment world and co-owner of KKR, was present atEden Gardenswhen the two teams took on one another. Buttler’s heroics sure ruined SRK’s evening as his team came close to winning the match but looked helpless in front of the English international’s prowess.

In a video posted by the Royals on social media handles, Buttler was asked if there’s any Bollywood star he would want to play his biopic.

“One Bollywood actor who would play your biopic?”asked New Zealand pacer Trent Boult.

Buttler responded by saying,“Shah Rukh Khan.”

Boult then responded by expressing his admiration for the King of Bollywood.

“Yeah, we love Shah Rukh,”said Boult.

After the match ended, SRK went down to the ground and congratulated Rajasthan’s players for winning the match. He also hugged and congratulated Buttler after his brilliant unbeaten century.

The visuals captured the moment of Khan embracing and appreciating Buttler have gone viral on social media. He was also seen applauding his century from the stands as well.

On the same night, SRK also fulfilled the Royals’ opener Yashasvi Jaiswal'slifelong dream of meeting The King of Bollywood.

After the match ended, Jaiswal stood in the ground and waited for SRK as he was greeting players from both sides. In a video posted by RR on their X, formerly Twitter, account, the 22-year-old was heard saying: “Introduce me to Shah Rukh sir.”

After waiting for a couple of minutes, SRK approached Jaiswal after which he hugged the 22-year-old and took pictures.
