The WrestleMania 40 is less than 11 days away and the tension regarding the storyline consisting of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, The Rock and Seth Rollins has started to heat up as all eyes have been set on WWE.
As it was earlier decided that Rhodes will take on Reigns at WrestleMania 40 which will take place on April 7 in Pennsylvania, The Rock continues to show his bitterness as he battered Cody all over the arena on Monday night RAW.
The Rock made a surprise appearance on Monday night RAW which stunned the crowd inside the Chicago Arena. The People Champs came in while Rhodes was speaking. After entering the ring, he whispered something to Cody’s ear, which left the WWE fanatics wondering.
The Rock told Rhodes “Tonight, am gonna make you bleed" and that is exactly what he did later that night as The American Nightmare was dragged all over the Chicago Arena and was left in a pile of his own blood.
Rocky Maivia battered Rhodes and sent a message to his mother, Mama Rhodes. The Rock took out a belt from his waist which had Mama Rhodes written on it as he went on to send her a warning while holding her son’s face covered with blood.
“Mama Rhodes, look at him...look at him. The Rock has a special gift for you. The Rock is a man of his words. The Rock said he's gonna put your son's blood on this belt and at Wrestlemania, your son's blood and your tears,” he said.
Remember, Cody was given the chance to pick his opponent for WrestleMania 40 after winning the Royal Rumble for the second consecutive year.
Since rejoining the company at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022, the American Nightmare has emerged as a true hero for fans. They are passionately rooting for him to 'complete his journey' by defeating Roman Reigns and claiming the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
