Former Test cricketer Abdul Razzaq has suggested Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to take care of promising talent in the country.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Razzaq said Pakistan has talented cricketers who need proper training facilities.

"There is no such talent anywhere in the world as much as cricket talent in Pakistan, but our problem is that either we cannot find this talent or we cannot train it, however, PCB should take appropriate actions so that cricket becomes better," wrote Razzaq.

Razzaq was a part of Shahid Afridi-led interim selection committee which was appointed for the recently-concluded home ODI series against New Zealand.

PCB management committee's chairman Najam Sethi named Razzaq in the interim selection committee which made some bold inclusions in Pakistan's ODI squad for the home series against the Kiwis that concluded on January 13 in Karachi.

Pakistan lost three-match ODI series 2-1 against New Zealand to miss a chance to grab first position in ICC World Cup Super League.

On January 23, Sethi appointed Haroon Rasheed as permanent chief selector of the national men's team.Haroon, who was also a member of Afridi-led interim selection committee, was given permanent charge as head of selection committee.

The veteran of 23 Tests and 12 ODIs, Haroon, resigned as a management committee member, as revealed by Sethi in the press conference that took place on January 23 in Lahore.
