ICC announce nominations for women's player of the month

Sidra celebrates against Sr Lanka - PCB

Pakistan's opening batter Sidra Ameen,Ireland's young gun Gaby Lewis, and Thailand's opener Natthakan Chantham were nominated for ICC women's player of the month [November].

Sidra earned nomination for her magnificent run against Ireland in home ODI series. She scored 277 runs to lead the batters' chart in three-match series.

The opening batter, who was named player of the series, scored an unbeaten 176 in the first game of the series in Lahore and then backed that performance up with stylish 91* at the same venue in second game.

Ireland's Lewis bagged player of the series award in T20I series in Pakistan. Lewis smashed two half-centuries and a total of 144 runs from the three matches.

The 21-year-old also contributed a total of 58 runs during the three-game ODI series against Pakistan in their backyard.

Thailand's Chantham played an important role in her team's 4-0 series sweep at home against the Netherlands. She scored a whopping 267 runs at an average greater than 66.
