Australia's all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out from cricket for three months due to an ankle injury.
According to the details, Marsh was suffering from ankle issues for a long time now. The cricketer has decided to undergo surgery which ruled him out of cricket action for three months.
The all-round cricketer will miss the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL), his franchise Perth Scorchers confirmed.
He will also not be available for Australia's tour of India. Initially, the cricketer is said to be ready for Australia before next year's World Cup.
Marsh played an important role in Australia's T20 World Cup triumph last year.
Perth Scorchers will also miss their wicket-keeper batter Phil Salt due to his shoulder injury.
